Happy 6 Months Sam!

Wow, Sam is already 6 months. It is hard to believe. He is scooting around via rolling and spinning on his belly. He'll sit up for a little bit on his own but can't get back in position once he falls over. He laughs a lot and is so much fun. He has also recently added "g-g-gh-g-gh-gghh" to his vocabulary. At last week's appointment with the pediatrician, he weighed in at 19 lbs and measured 27 1/2 inches long putting him in the 85% in both categories. So he's a healthy one. And he enjoys wrestling with Carson now.

We started introducing solids two days ago (although isn't it funny that we call them "solids" when they are about as runny and smooth as a drink). So far so good. He likes his broccoli and his highchair, which is the same chair my sister and I used when we were kids. Thanks Mom!

A few other pics from the past couple weeks...
He is supposed to be sitting in front of the toy but somehow managed to get in this predicament.

Don't worry, no children or animals were harmed in this picture. Sam loves the sound that the big green ball makes when he bangs on it.
