There have been a handful of perks that have come with living in our neighborhood. Today I got a close up view of a FDNY funeral procession as it passed in front of our doorstep. The pics and video don't do it justice, so I'll tell a few details...The street was lined with firemen on one side about 5 deep from Lenox to Madison (about a 1/4 mile stretch) while a procession of bagpipes, a fire engine with a casket on top and several funeral-type cars passed by. That's an impressive sight. A testament to what a good brotherhood looks like. The church should have more bagpipes. Great to hear from you guys again! Lots of love to you!
